Good ol’ freedom!

27 05 2009

wow, after reading this article, I kind of thought about all of the freedoms america, and many other countries have. It’s kind of wierd, though, the fact that iranians couldn’teven go on social networking sites. most people in america couldn’t live without facebook, twitter, or myspace.
Anyways,
goodbye for now,

Tommy

Challenge 12

21 05 2009

As part of challenge 12, I have to answer some more questions!
* How has this challenge improved your communication skills?
My “communication skills have improved a lot since the start of the challenge. I used to just say hi, but now I interact, and tell them where to find my blog.
* How could blogging become an integral part of your school’s curriculum?
I think that blogging could be a very big part of our schools curriculum, because if some students are sick, they could e-mail or post their homework on their blog.
* Would you take part in another challenge and why?
I would take part in a challlenge, just to see how many views I get, and where.

How my school year has been.

20 05 2009

As this school year rounds its end, My classmates and I have all had to answer these questions:

1.How has this year gone by for you?

My year has gone by pretty well. in this class I have learned many things, like posting links, and inserting pictures.

2.What were the biggest surprises this school year for you?

The biggest surprise for me was how the school year ended so fast. It seems like school has only been three months long.

3.What achievements were you the most proud of

I was most proud of how I learned so much in making this. I can change colors, and I can post links in my comments, which most people cant. and I can create cool fonts styles.

4.What was the wackiest moment in your year?

my wackiest moment? Well, probably when in gym class, I was the first person to score a homerun in kickball.
5.What will you miss the most from seventh grade?

I will miss having lunch first the most.

6.What do you look forward to most about going into eighth grade?

I will look forward to more complex math courses, technology courses, and new friends!!!!!!

REduce, REuse, REcycle, REad this!!!

19 05 2009

Hello! Today, I am telling you about a little thing I like to call recycling! All you have to do is place two or three boxes that are easy to carry, in a spot that you walk often, but not in the way. if you are not a big recycler, at least get a pop can bin. The three boxes should be labeled: paper, plastic, and glass. also, you should have somewhere to put your pop cans. once a box gets filled, take it to the local recycling center! that’s all for today,

Tommy!

Challenge 11- your best work needed

18 05 2009

Games now? (3)

15 05 2009

Now, I will tell you of my favorite PS3 games. Coming in at first place is Fallout 3. If you have an x-box 360 you can buy this game too. I chose this because the possibilities are ENDLESS!!!!!!! The picture on top is a brotherhood of steel member, one of the many characters you can encounter in the game. you can be evil, nice, or just plain normal. the game takes place in D.C., but after nuclear fallout. You are trying to find your dad, but that is just one of many quests you can complete. this game gets a 6/5!!! the next game would be littlebigplanet, a sidescrolling platformer. with over 20 full story mode levels, and at least 8 mini games, this is a keeper, but even better is the ability to create your own levels, share them online, and play other online levels. this game gets a 5/5 for the ability to interact. the third game would be call of duty 5 , world at war. it has zombie mode, one of the best parts of the game, but also a good part is the story mode co-op. this game can be purchased if you have an xbox 360, or Wii. I give this a 4/5.

goodbye for now,

Tommy
